Terms and Conditions

Before creating an account and placing an order from www.vinylphilosophy.com you must a read and accept our selling terms and coditions.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

We sell only new records, so most of the vinyl you will receive are sealed but, in a small number of cases, it is possible that we send you opened items. That doesn't mean that they are not new, but only that we have received them this way from our suppliers or (in an even smaller number of cases) that we opened them to check the colour of the pressing (when it's not clear from the outter labels).

All prices shown in our website include Italian 22% VAT. Please note that if you order from a non- UE county, you may be charged with customs duties or taxes for which we are not responsable. All items, except where expressly indicated or pre-orders, are in stock. Pre-orderes are usually shipped the day before the release day or as soon as we receive them from our suppliers.

When all the items of your ouder are in stock, we ship them to you within 1-2 working days. You will receive an email warning you that your order is ready for despatch with a tracking number link that you can use to check in every moment the progress of the shipment. We use strong packaging in order to protected your vinly against any inconvenience may occur during the shipping process, but we have also a special attention to Nature and we do our best to respect her.


PAYMENT

We accept the following payment method:

Your credit card will be charged at the moment you place an order (included preorders). If we don't receive your payment within 7 days, we are entitled to cancel your order.


BILLING

Under Italian law our business is considered “online indirect commerce” (art. 2 lett. oo DPR 696/1996) and consequently exempted: from the obligation to issue an invoice unless the same is requested by the customer no later than the moment the operation is performed (art. 22, first paragraph, no. 1, DPR 633 /1972); from the obligation to memorize and transmit payment data (Dm 10 May 2019, amended by Dm 24 December 2019; article 2, paragraph 1, letter oo, DPR n. 696/1996); from the obligation to issue the commercial document or "receipt" (referred to in Dm of 7 December 2016).

The invoice can be requested at the moment of the checkout. The document will be issued only after verification of the payment.


GIFT COUPONS

If you want to make a present to someone but you are not sure which of our items are perfect, you can buy a Gift Coupons. We offer coupons of the ammount of 25€ , 50€, 75€ and 100€, as you can see in our Gift Coupon page.

When you buy a Gift Coupon we send an email to the recipient with your message and the voucher you choose. Be aware that we cannot give the recipient money in exchange.

If you want to make a present to someone and you have clear ideas on what to choose, you can use the “Gift this product” option. In this case we will ship the items directly to the recepient's address you provide us. You can leave a message for the recipient and, instead of an invoice, we will insert a gift receipt.


REWARDS

We want to reward our loyal customers, so we created a special program to collect points and get credit store or special gadgets in exchange. Every euro you will spend you will ear one point and every 100 points you can redeem a voucher of 1€. It's possible to redeem your voucher in every moment and use it for a purchase. Shipping

When we receive an order and all the items you ordered are in stock, then we will ship it out within 1-2 working days.

Please be aware that if your order contains pre-orders or items not in stock that we order specially for you, then we will ship your parcel only when all items are in stock. Note also that release dates can be subject to change. We will update release dates as soon as we know of any changes, but we are not responsible for delays due to non-delivery by our suppliers. Pre-orders are usually shipped the day before the released day or as soon as we have them in stock.

We currently ship to Europe and UK using GLS, BRT and DPD Group (Geopost), but we can use other tracked couriers at our discretion.

All shipments are tracked and tracking information will be provided you via email as soon as the parcel is despached, so you can know where is your parcel in every moment.

If you want to buy from us and you live outside Europe and UK, there are no problems! You have just to send us an email and we will estimate the price of shipping. We try our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible. We absorb a part of them in order they are not too high for our customers.

Your postage will be automatically calculated as you add items to your basket.

* Plese note that to the following prices there may be surcharges for delieveries to islands.

**The following prices are not valid for Città del Vaticano, San Marino, Zone Franche (Campione d'Italia and Livigno) and small islands (for example, Pantelleria, Isole Tremiti, Isole di Venezia and others).

Estimated delivery times (these estimated shipping times can be affected by circumstances beyond our control: for detailed information always refer to the tracking link we sand you when the order is despached):

  • Italy: 24-48 hours
  • Europe: 3-5 working days
  • UK: 4-6 working days

Please note that packages shipped to non EU Countries may have import VAT and handling fees at the arrival, which are not our responsibility.

Returns and Refunds

It is possible to cancel an order if we haven't shipped out it yet. In this case, just contact our customer service via e-mail (info@vinylphilosophy.com) and let us know the number of the order or the item that you want to cancel. We will provide you a fully refund (if you cancel the entire order) or a partial refund (if you cancel only an item from a multiple order), including shipping cost.

If you decide a product is not suitable or if you are not satisfied with the title you have ordered for whatever reason, you are entitled to return it to us WITHIN 14 DAYS of receipt for a replacement or refund. Returns must be unused (we cannot accept unwanted/incorrect items that have been opened ) and in their original, undamaged packaging.

Before sanding anything back, please notify us by email that you want to cancel an order so we will email you with all instructions. We reserve the right to not process returns sent to us without our permission.

Please make sure you pack your return securely because if an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition due to poor packaging then we may have to send it back to you without a refund. Shipping costs for returns of unwanted items are at your expense.

We'll provide a full refund for goods returned in accordance with all these conditions as soon as possible, using the same payment method used at moment of the order. Alternatively, you can also choose if you want a replacement or store credit.

In cases of wrong shipment or shipment of faulty or damneges items, contact us as soon as possible and we will begin the return process. We will send out a replacement where possible. If a replacement isn’t available, or it you would prefer, you can choose a full refund or store credit. For damaged and faulty items, shipping costs for returns are at our expense. After your notification, we will send you a free returns label.

We use strong and safe packagings, but occasionally a product may be damaged in transit. In this case we ask you to inform us as soon as possible via our email (info@vinylphilosophy.com) and to send us some pics of the parcel. We will ensure that the product is replaced or refunded.

Before conferming an order, please check carefull the address that you provide us. We are not responsable if a customer give us a wrong address and if the parcel is lost or return to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address. And you will be expected to pay the additional postage for redelivery.
